La Nebulosa Manubrio (nota anche come Nebulosa Torsolo di mela, Messier 27, M27 o NGC 6853) è una nebulosa planetaria nella costellazione della Volpetta, e si trova ad una distanza di circa 1.360 anni luce.
Questa è stata la prima nebulosa planetaria ad essere scoperta; da Charles Messier nel 1764. Alla sua luminosità di magnitudine 7.5 e il suo diametro di circa 8 minuti d'arco, è facilmente visibile con binocoli o un telescopi amatoriali.
The Dumbbell Nebula (also known as Apple Core Nebula, Messier 27, M27, or NGC 6853) is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula, at a distance of about 1,360 light years.
This object was the first planetary nebula to be discovered; by Charles Messier in 1764. At its brightness of visual magnitude 7.5 and its diameter of about 8 arcminutes, it is easily visible in binoculars, and a popular observing target in amateur telescopes.
